Last week Hurricane Florence caused extensive damage in both South Carolina and North Carolina. Unfortunately even though the storm has passed, the impact of the storm is not yet over and many South Carolinian's are still in need. Rural Inter-professional Behavioral health Scholars, Faculty and Staff at the College of Social Work at the University of South Carolina are leading a supply drive to collect necessary supplies for those impacted in Dillon, Horry, Marlboro and Marion Counties. This SC Relief Drive is intended to provide needed goods to those still displaced after the hurricane.

The SC Relief Drive will begin on Tuesday, September 25th and continue until Saturday, September 29th. Student volunteers will be taking donations from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on those days in Hamilton College, as well as from 8:00-2:00pm on October 1. The SC National Guard will be picking up all donations on Monday, October 1 to take to folks in each of the SC communities impacted.
